Office 2024 for consumers available October 1

Microsoft 365 is the best way to access the latest versions of the productivity apps that millions of people use every day to bring their ideas to life and power through tasks. But we know some of our customers still prefer a non-subscription way to access our familiar apps, which is why we’re releasing Office 2024 on October 1 for consumers and small businesses. Office 2024 includes updated, locked-in-time versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook¹ for PC and Mac. Read on for more details about what’s new in Office 2024.

• 2013 (Released on 9 Jan 2013) - End of Extended Support - 11 April 2023
• 2016 (Released on 22 Sep 2015) - End of Extended Support - 14 Oct 2025
• 2019 (Released on 23 Sept 2018) - End of Extended Support - 14 Oct 2025
• 2021 (Released on 6th Oct 2021) - End of Support - 13 Oct 2026

Note :  Normally, the end of normal support is after 5 years upon the release.
